Junior Fitness

The following sessions and clubs are included in the Junior Membership:

Junior Swim Ffit

New alterative fitness class for all juniors Led by an instructor it will improve fitness, help reach targets and train for personal challenges in a social environment.

The classes will include a mixture of different routines, strokes, speeds and lengths to encourage a more varied and challenging workout than traditional lane-swimming. With various accompanying training aids and challenges, there is something to suit all abilities and interests.

Junior Swim Fit follows the Swim Wales Framework. The Advanced Swimming Skills programme offers swimmers the opportunity to develop key advanced swimming skills. There are 5 levels that are designed for swimmers who wish to enhance their technique in the four strokes, starts, turns and finishes. It is designed to embed good practice, the right habits and skills at an early stage in a swimmer’s career. You can read more here. Academy & Junior Swim Fit

Abergele Leisure Centre

Junior Lifting Club (Hybrid)

Participants will work on improving their strength, speed, coordination and stamina through exercises inspired by Hybrid events. This class is perfect for juniors looking to stay active and take on new fitness challenges!

Colwyn Leisure Centre

  • Monday & Wednesday 15:30 - 16:15


Junior Lifting Club (Strength)

Participants will learn how to safely use barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises to develop foundational strength and improve overall fitness. These sessions are an excellent way for juniors to build a strong foundation for athletic performance and lifelong passion for fitness.

Junior BoxFfit

BoxFfit is a high-energy cardio based workout that incorporates pad work, weight training, conditioning and functional based circuit training that is heavily influenced by the sport of boxing. These workout sessions are a great stress reliever and a fun way to learn a new skill set within a sport that you may not have experienced.
