Ffit Conwy Easter Splash Gala 2025 – A Fun-Filled Swimming Event for Young Swimmers Wave 6+!

Ffit Conwy is thrilled to announce the return of the Easter Splash Gala 2025, an exciting swimming competition designed for young swimmers currently enrolled in Wave 6 upwards. Taking place on Friday 4th April at Llandudno Swimming Centre, it will offer children the opportunity to experience the thrill of competitive swimming in a fun and supportive environment.

The Easter Splash Gala is open to all swimmers currently enrolled in Wave 6, 7, Academy, Swim Ffit, and Rookie Lifeguard programs (Wave 8). Participants can choose from a range of 25m and 50m races in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Wave 8 swimmers can also enter the 100m Individual Medley. In addition, relay races will be organized by swimming teachers and are free to enter.

Deadline for entries is Friday, 21st March 2025.

Stephanie Rowles, Ffit Conwy Swim Manager and Organiser says:

“This is a fantastic way for children to gain experience in a real swimming gala setting, develop confidence and racing skills and enjoy a fun and friendly competition with fellow swimmers.“

"The gala will start 4pm, with a warm-up at 4:30pm, the races will run for approximately three hours. Spectators are welcome to watch and cheer, give encouragement and support (maximum of two per swimmer)”.

Entry Fee: £12 (includes up to 4 races, an event swim hat & t-shirt)

To enter, simply visit your local leisure centre reception and complete the registration form before the deadline on 21st March. (Late entries will not be accepted).
