Women and Girls
Statistics reveal women and girls participate less in sport than men and boys, with lower activity levels and less volunteering. As a minority group programmes are designed to encourage more women and girls to become more physically active.
A growing sense of purpose and community has shaped the development of the Ffit Conwy Women and Girls programme.
Offering a range of activities, such as paddleboarding, gym sessions, e‑biking, and guided walks, the programme provides supportive, female‑only spaces where participants can connect, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful physical activity.
Each session offers more than movement, it provides time away from daily pressures and encourages wellbeing, conversation, and the discovery of new skills and environments.

Step into the great outdoors and explore the landscape with a community of other women.
These sessions are designed to help you feel more confident walking in nature and boost your well being in a supportive, welcoming group of like-minded women.
Whether you are new to walking, looking to explore more local routes, or practise some map skills you'll be guided every step of the way.
Participants are expected to bring their own appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproofs and warm layers), some hydration and a snack.
They are expected to be of sufficient fitness to be able to complete a 2 hour walk where you will be tackling moderate hills and walking on uneven ground.
Spaces are limited.
