Conwy has a wide range, and some of the best sporting opportunities in Wales for disabled people.

There are both participation and performance outlets available locally and we aim to support the provision of activity for all impairment groups. By facilitating and supporting a range of opportunities delivered by different partners we can provide disabled people, of all abilities, with a choice of what they do and when. With disability specific sessions and clubs as well as inclusive non-disabled clubs it is a great time to get involved with sport or physical activity in Conwy.

Volunteering in Inclusive Physical Activity and Sport

Community sport simply would not exist without volunteers. There is a huge demand, now more than ever, for dedicated volunteers who want to help local disabled people access high quality sport and physical activity opportunities within Conwy.

Volunteering is a brilliant way of developing your confidence, learning new skills, gaining experience, meeting new people and giving back to your local community. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never volunteered, or been involved in sport, before. There are a range of roles available with support, mentoring and training, for those who want it.
