Children's Swimming Lessons
Ffit Conwy follows the Learn to Swim Wales Learning Framework. All our lessons are inclusive and cover a range of abilities and ages.
Monthly Swimming Lessons Direct Debit £25, as part of the £25 you pay for swimming lessons, you get public swimming for free to practice whenever you want! Click the tiles below to find out more.
Information for parents
- Parents or guardians of children under 8 years of age who are attending swimming or gymnastics lessons are required to remain on site for the entire duration of the session to ensure they are available should any issues occur.
- Swimming lessons are held on Saturday mornings and weekday evenings.
- Courses run continuously throughout the year with a two week break over Christmas
- We provide all equipment for the lessons such as arm bands and floats.
- Please wear an appropriate swimming costume or trunks. (no bikinis or tankinis. Full costume required for girls).
- No long shorts or wetsuits.
- Long hair must be tied back or wear a swimming cap.
- Please make sure your child has visited the toilet before entering the water.
- If your child is feeling unwell please consider whether they are fit enough to attend the lesson.
- If your child has goggles they must be able to take them on and off themselves.
- Please do not leave items in the cubicles - they will be removed as lost property.
If you prefer your child to receive instruction exclusively in their language of choice, whether that be Welsh or English, please Contact Us and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
(*Please note: During sickness or annual leave, a Welsh speaking teacher may not be available.)
